I also don’t want to drive home after an hour of deep relaxation. A really good aromatherapy essential oil will put you in a very heavy state of calm that does not have any business behind the wheel of a car. I would have to undo some of the effects of the aromatherapy essential oil in order to operate my vehicle.

This is not to suggest that the oil is intoxicating but certain ones can really have a profound effect on your system. This is especially true if you make certain associations with the scents.
