Beauty Treatments and Best Anti Aging Products for Men, to Maintain Their Youth and Handsome Features
Lots of things change as we age, and we have to adapt to those changes whether we want to or not! Fortunately, the best anti aging skin care for women over 40 builds on methods most women already use, but the products change with time.
The foundation for the best anti aging skin care is also the foundation for good health in general: 7 to 8 hours of sleep each night, 6 to 8 glasses of water each day, and daily protection against sun damage using a sunscreen with a minimum protection factor of 15.
Then build on this foundation with the recommended practice of morning and night skin care that cleanses, tones and moisturizes. The difference for women over 40, however, is to switch to products that are meant for older skin.
For the best anti aging skin care, experts recommend changing to gentle cleansers that don't remove skin's natural oils, which helps to moisturize older, drier skin. Another tip is to massage the face - gently! - when cleansing, to make sure that dirt and makeup float up and out of pores.
Aging skin also needs gentler toners than previously, even as big a change as switching to a toner for sensitive skin. Over-40 women with drier skin may be tempted to stop using toner, but don't give in - toner restores the pH balance of the skin after it's cleansed.
Moisturizes containing Vitamins C and E, plus green or white tea, work wonderfully for older skin. That's because these ingredients are known as antioxidants, meaning they cancel out the effects of molecules called free radicals that occur after exposure to the sun's ultraviolet rays and to pollution. Free radicals cause skin to age skin quicker, so the best anti-aging skin care makes sure to counteract their effects.

In addition to a daily facial regimen, many experts recommend additional restorative products containing silicone, such as a restorative serum or a night cream. Many dermatologists love silicone - often listed on labels as cyclopentasiloxane or dimethicone - because it keeps skin moist and silky looking.
Omega-3 supplements also are high on skin doctors' list of favorites for the best anti-aging skin care. Omega-3s boost the body's immune system, and help prevent and repair cell damage. Dermatologists also like their patients to make sure the get their daily dose of minerals, which function in cell processes of all kinds.
Older skin can suffer from rough patches all over as the process of cell renewal slows down. Many doctors recommend using products periodically to exfoliate and moisturize to reduce these areas of roughness. Products that also contain a form of Vitamin A exfoliate known retinyl palmitate give an added anti-aging boost. Speaking of exfoliators, skin care experts also recommend this practice as an anti aging method. Some women exfoliate weekly, some every other week and some just once a month, depending on their skin needs.
One of the best anti aging skin care products for women over 40 is one containing a retinoid, or a form of Vitamin A. This ingredient has been medically shown to support the production of skin cells, a process that slows with age. As the older skin cells slough off and new ones take their place, skin retains a more youthful look. Retinoids also reduce the skin pigment known as melanin, which creates the unsightly blotches called age spots. Finally, retinoids lessen the appearance of fine lines in aging skin. That's triple good news for any woman looking for improved skin.

This article contains some anti aging solutions for everyone, if you are looking for a quick fix for aging skin, then some skin aging treatments are right here.
There are many ways to treat aging skin. The best treatment for aging skin is natural remedies. These are very simple but for them to be effective, one has to make a commitment to a healthy lifestyle.
First thing that a person needs to do is stop all harmful habits like smoking, as this actually makes the skin age faster.
Minimum 7 to 8 hours of sleep is a must.
One must use a sunscreen always to avoid age spots and premature aging. Sunglasses are a must to protect the fragile area under the eyes.
One can try anti aging supplements. The diet must be nutritious with a high intake of vitamin C, vitamin A and omega 3 fatty acids.
One must consume lots of water to keep the skin hydrated.
Following an effective skin care routine is a must as this keeps the pores clean and the dead layer of the skin gets removed.
Other than the above mentioned, one can also use anti aging creams and fade away creams too.

There is no dearth of skin aging treatments available in the market. One can choose from a whole bunch of options. Let us take a look at some of these options.
: Everyone is familiar with botox. It is an injection which is applied to specific areas of the body for specific results. It is injected into the skin on the forehead to smoothen out frown lines. It is even injected into the armpits to avoid sweating. The drawback of this treatment is that it's effects wears off in a few months and one has to go for another painful sitting.
: Collagen gives elasticity to the skin. Collagen supplements are used to make fine lines smoother and to reduce the scars. They are mostly used to remove crow's feet and smile lines.
: Some people also opt for chemical peels to mainly deal with pigmentation, large pores and sun damage. These peels remove the outer surface of the skin. Since the dead skin layer is removed, the chemical agents help in the generation of new cells.
: It is a non invasive treatment for aging skin. Microdermabrasion is used to smoothen out uneven skin texture to treat acne scarring, reduce large pores and fine lines.
: Laser treatment for aging skin is another option for skin aging treatment. A laser skin rejuvenation process uses a high intensity light which is passed on the skin around the scarred or wrinkled area to smoothen out the coarseness of the skin. As a result of which, wrinkles and scars diminish. The downside of this treatment is that it is more aggressive on the skin and can cause scarring and burns.
Now that you are aware of the various options for skin aging treatment, make an informed choice. Personally I would recommend the natural way as the most skin-friendly approach to deal with aging. After all, aging is not that bad, it has been earned after years of toil and one must show it off with pride.

Anti-Aging Concepts and The Various Therapies Available Today to Prevent Aging
Anti-Aging is a field of study which focuses on how to prevent, slow down or reverse the effects of age and to help people live longer, healthier lives.
Thus, the study of anti-aging concepts includes the study of various branches of genetic engineering, tissue engineering, and psychology which essentially form a part of life extension therapies.
The various therapies available in the market today include therapies for skin care, physical fitness, diets, hormone replacements, vitamins, supplements, herbs and also include various alternative medicine therapies and holistic approaches towards anti-aging.
Anti-aging has had a long standing history during the evolution of mankind. Many civilizations have focused on the concept of anti-aging and have come forth with different ideas and concepts which include philosophical, alternative, and medicinal aspects of anti-aging.
Anti-aging can be traced as far back as the Egyptian civilization where olive leaves were promoted as an anti-aging remedy. The ancient Vedic culture also had different types of diet and meditation exercises coupled with physical exercises which were said to promote anti-aging.
There are also several stories and legends which focus on civilizations which had found a cure for aging. These legends include Atlantis and Shangri-La. And let us not forget the search of the Alchemists for the ‘Elixir of Life' or the ‘Fountain of Youth'.
Historically it has been seen that man has tried very hard to look for different means and methods to increase his life span while looking and feeling young and remaining fit.
Studies have centered on people who have lived long lives - that is people who are older than 100 years or more. These studies have found very little in common amongst these people in physical terms. However, the common traits have been that these people have led physically active lives, most of them don't smoke and that they maintained the same body weight throughout their lives. Genetic research has also shown that in some cases, longevity is even hereditary. However, there is no conclusive proof.
There are several anti-aging therapies available in the market. Most of these focus on different techniques of physical fitness, nutrition and diet and psychological approaches towards happiness. Most of the therapies available today are usually a combination of these.
Other research, however, continues to look for causes and cures of aging. One such research is ‘Tissue Engineering'. This focuses on developing for ways to grow new tissue where the old tissue has been damaged. This also includes research using stem cells, organ transplants, and artificial tissue organs. Different branches of Nanotechnology, Genetic engineering, and even Pharmaceutical research are contributing to this research.
Today, the market is flooded with anti-aging skins, creams and lotions which claim to make the skin look and feel younger. No doubt, this is targeted towards the vanity of women. However, there is a certain amount of scientific research which is backing these claims by these cosmetic companies. It pays to research their scientific claims for accuracy and authenticity before buying such products. More often than not, these have delivered good results as well.
Of course, while all these theories abound, the market is also being flooded with a variety of pills and tablets claiming to be anti-aging supplements.
Another approach towards anti-aging is a combination of eastern medicine and mysticism. Techniques in this therapy include a combination of Ayurvedic medicine (ancient Vedic natural medicines), Yoga, and different philosophical methods for peace and personal empowerment.
Another approach towards anti-aging includes a combination of physical fitness and diets which claim to increase longevity.
There is also an approach in anti-aging which focuses on the psychological aspects of aging which places an emphasis on developing a positive attitude, forming a strong belief system and empowering oneself with coping skills which help one age gracefully while remaining youthful.
Ideally, a combination of all these ideologies should give a good result and bring about an anti-aging revolution.

How to Succeed at Aging Without Really Dying Lyla Blake Ward’s How to Succeed at Aging Without Really Dying is a wry, witty, and wise collection of essays about living in a ...
Appearing younger has consistently been a consuming compulsion of mankind. Nonetheless, this compulsion is indeed more extreme nowadays than at any other age previously. Wisdom regarding a person's functional age have given rise to major way of life transitions that restrict and even setback aging.
Various approaches to slowing aging have manifested due to the incessant research throughout the years. The chief discoveries in relation to slowing aging have had a huge impact on mankind's understanding and conduct. Various of the most important milestones are:
First, Looking more youthful is functional
Second, The significance of naturally occurring human growth hormones
Third, The importance of exercise on assisting persons to continue to be younger
Fourth, The help of anti aging health supplements
Looking younger is a consequence of your functional age and not your actual age. Your biological age is how young your body feels. How old your body feels is mirrored on how old or young your body seems. Your actual age is how old you truly are.
There can be and there often is a disparity between our sequential age and our biological age. Genuine anti aging calls for your functional age to be a good deal smaller than your sequential age. The Importance of Exercise To Anti Aging There is an important activity that is often neglected in the obsession to look younger.
]]>
The activity that is seldom mentioned is exercise. Is it because there is more money to be made researching other anti aging products? Or is it the fact that exercise could be performed without the purchase of goods or equipment, hence, it doesn't offer the greatest profit potential? Regardless, the body requires exercise to function at its best. Exercise causes the body to regenerate itself.
Many physical ills are prevented by exercise. Exercise also prevents a myriad of health problems. Exercise may not only be good to look younger, but it can prevent or reverse many diseases.
The benefits of exercise on anti aging were recently published. McMaster University researchers in Hamilton found that signs of premature aging were halted and even reversed by exercise in their tests on mice.
One of the uniqueness of the body is its ability to regenerate itself. Because of the functions of growth hormones, this is possible. Produced naturally in the body is growth hormone. Cell reproduction and normal growth is its responsibility. What Defines Growth Hormones (GH) Cell replication in humans and animals are possible because of growth hormones.
Why the Body Needs Human Growth Hormone. Height and body growth are due to growth hormone. Neglect of the body is one of the causes of the depletion of natural growth hormone. Growth hormone supplements come in many forms, e.g., pills and injections. When there are excessive amounts of growth hormones in the body, however, serious side effects can result. Bodybuilders rank among some the biggest abusers.
Other health and psychological problems are associated with Obesity. Heart and pulmonary problems and joint problems can all develop from being overweight. The need to stay younger and healthier has sparked new studies and researches. Weight loss contributes mightily to maintaining good health.
Anti aging and good health requires proper diet, moderate exercise and sufficient sleep. Proper weight control is a function of all of those. Obesity occurs when the body is not fed properly, is not or unable to burn off excess calories through activity or exercise, and improper night's rest.
Your biological age will be lower than your actual age if you take care of your body. Smoking and body neglect, on the other hand, results in a lower biological age.

The Right Age to Start Using Anti Aging Skin Care Products
Every woman is worried about her skin. No one wants to age with a lot of wrinkles on their faces. That is the reason why have become very popular among women. There are many such products available in the market. There are creams for different skin types, serums and gels for different skin problems, etc. It could happen that just one cream might do the work but sometimes there could be a combination of anti aging products needed to get the perfect skin. The user can always find this information with the help of a dermatologist. But there will always a doubt among the users of anti aging products, and that is the age at which they must start using these anti aging products. The answer is that use of these products can begin at any age. You are never too young or too old to start using anti aging products.
Given below are the different ages at which a woman can begin using . There are different reasons why these have to be used.
A girl in the 20s must start using these products with the idea of preventing any aging spots. The degeneration of the skin begins with the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. If these are not taken care of before and after, they can completely destroy the skin. There are two types of anti aging products that can prevent the appearance of these aging spots. One is an anti aging cream which has sunscreen in it and the other is anti aging cream which contains moisturizers. The use of sunscreen will prevent the harmful rays of the sun from directly affecting the skin. UV rays are one of the major causes of the skin aging early. Skin in the younger age also tends to suffer from appearance of pimples and blackheads. Acne creams can be used to cure any pimples outbreaks and keep the skin free of any dark spots. The skin also has to be kept clean using cleansers which ensure that the skin continues to remain flawless.
]]>
Next let us move on to the 30s. A more advanced procedure is required in this case. The above mentioned products have to be used continuously, but in addition to those, there is also a need to begin the use of anti aging firming products. These creams can be mixed in the moisturizers and applied to the skin. It will help in preventing the skin from losing its firmness. This is an age where fine lines also start forming under the eyes. It is necessary to use an under eyes cream to prevent the skin under the eyes from darkening and getting wrinkled. Apart from the cleansers, one can also start using peel – off masks. These will help remove the dirt from the deep pores of the skin and allow the skin to breath freely.
Now we come to the age group in which the skin requires maximum attention: ages 40 and above. Women in these ages have to use Anti Aging Skin Care Products that focus on particular problems like the appearance of wrinkles on the skin or lines under the eyes, etc. These have to be specialized anti aging creams and not general ones. One has to start using night recovery creams that work during sleep and help keep the skin soft, thus preventing appearance of wrinkles and reducing the wrinkles that have already formed on the skin. Advanced anti aging under eyes creams help not only to reduce the wrinkles and fine lines under the eyes, but it also helps in lightening the skin. Spot correcting anti aging creams also have to be used to prevent the appearance of dark spots or freckles on the skin and also reduce the spots that already can be seen on the face.
So as we can see, there is no specific age when the usage of Anti Aging Skin Care Products have to begin. They need to be used everyday starting from younger age. This will go a long way in preventing the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, skin darkening, freckles, etc. and will make your skin ready to fight all these signs of aging. There are different types of anti aging products available in the market. Though they are expensive they help in avoiding anti aging spots. But it is necessary to choose these products properly. These anti aging products are available for different types of skin. You have to find out your skin type and purchase only that product that suits your skin. Get small packs and try skin tests before using them on a daily basis. Remember that only a daily skin care regime will help prevent all the signs of aging.

New Age – A Paradigm Shift to Divine Consciousness & a Universal Philosophy
The New Age Movement (NAM) is a revival of spiritual and divine values and can be called as a Divine Regeneration Movement. New Age Philosophy has conquered the West intellectually and Western culture is currently experiencing a phenomenal shift – sociological, spiritual & ideological. It's a secular, multi-cultural, multi-religious synthesis, of the Oriental mystical philosophies, mainly Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism & Western Occultism, emphasising Holism, the doctrine that Reality is organically One ( now taught in American Universities after Einstein's Theory of Relativity ).
Behind the evolution of the species, there is an evolution of Consciousness. The aim of Life is Self-Actualisation, to evolve to the level of Unity Consciousness, defined as the 7th state of Consciousness in Transcendental Philosophy.
The social disturbance caused by the Vietnam War, the threat posed by AIDS, the disillusionment with materialistic ideas and the erosion of faith in Morality & Ethics brought a sense of futility & meaninglessness in the Western psyche. The limitations of the Western system of Chemotherapy & adverse side-effects of antibiotics, sedatives and certain other drugs and the disillusionment with the promises of science & technology made millions turn to Oriental philosophies, occult practices & systems of therapy.( Interest in Alternative Medicine developed to such an extent that there are now more than 180 systems of Alternative Medicine.
Exponents of New Age Philosophy in Europe and America include Transcendentalists like Thoreau, Emerson & Walt Whitman, Wordsworth, Emanuel Swedenborg (1688-1772), , & Theosophy introduced by Madame Helena Blavatsky (1831- 1891) & Col Olcott & the philosopher, Annie Besant. As the world witnessed a Consciousness Revolution, Transcendental Meditation, Yoga ,Zen, Carlos Castañada, the Beatles, Holistic Medicine ( both Western and Ayurveda ), Tantra, Astrology ( both Western & Vedic ) all became popular .
There are 6 million New Age sites on the Web and the NAM consists of a massive & well organised network consisting of thousands of groups, trusts, foundations, clubs, lodges, and spiritual groups whose goal and purpose is to prepare the world to enter the coming Aquarian Age. ( The Age of Aquarius ). In astrological symbolism, Aquarius represents Spirituality and Pisces Rationality. The Piscean Age, an age of Computer and Cybernetics revolution, will be followed by an Age of Consciousness Revolution or a Spiritual Revolution, the Aquarian Age.
Some New Age Organisations are : California New Age Caucus, New World Alliance, World Goodwill, The Church Universal and Triumphant, The Theosophical Society, Amnesty International, Zero Population Growth, the Forum, Planetary Initiative for the World We Choose, the Club of Rome, Church Universal & Triumphant, Christian Science, and the Unity School of Christianity.
New Age believes in the essential goodness of Man and the Divine Spark in Man and the New Age movement is not a unified cult system of beliefs and practices, even though its roots derive from Vedic Philosophy. There is no central authority, no official leader, no headquarters, nor membership list, but instead is a network of groups working toward World Peace and Universal Love. There are millions of worldwide followers of various New Age practices and the world is moving from Chaos ( Disorder ) to Cosmos ( Order ) ! This is a Phase Transition from Entropy ( Disorder ) to Order !
Significant influence has been gained by NAM affecting almost every area of Occidental culture—Sociology, Psychology, Medicine, the Government, Ecology, Science, Arts, Education, the Business Community, the media, entertainment, sports, and even the Church. Organised spiritual forms such as Christian Science, Unity and even forms of Witchcraft ( from the German ' Wicca' meaning the Wise; Witchcraft means the Craft of the Wise ) are all its expressions. Various Human Potential Seminars, Transcendental Meditation, Zen Meditation and some Alternative Holistic Medicine practices are also its manifold manifestations.
Some popular New Age publications and journals are New Age Journal, the Z Files, Clarity, Body Mind Spirit, Yoga Journal, Gnosis, East West, Noetic Sciences, the Millenium Being and Omega. The new tendency of people now is to view everything from a New Age perspective
The major goal of the New Age Movement is to prepare Man for entering the Aquarian Age and to bring world peace in an already bruised world. "All is wrong with the world" said Shaw & some of the other goals of the NAM are to establish an entirely New World Order in the fields of Economy & Government. The idea of a World Government was proposed by Bernard Shaw earlier and was implemented by Mahesh Yogi and occurs in the writings of the foundational apostle of the New Age Movement, Alice Bailey.
The word 'Initiation" is derived from the Latin "In ire" to go within and Initiates were termed by the Great Master as the salt of the Earth. The mystic Ward defined Reality as "Within and within and within and within" . Another mystic described it as "It is hidden, it is hidden and it is hidden". To the mystic, self evolution is the means and only by changing and correcting ourselves can we change others . The primary goals of the movement then, are to prepare the world to receive the Divine Consciousness and to enter the Age of Aquarius, thus establishing the New World Order.
New Age Philosophy believes that human evolution can be accelerated, if not in the entire mass of humanity, at least in suitable individuals. Human nature is perfectible, through an intensive process of purification and Initiation.
The New Age Movement is secular & universally diffused over the earth's surface & its basic underlying philosophy emphasises Gnosticism and Occultism. (Gnosticism is an ancient philosophy stating that Divine essence is the highest reality, and that the Self of man is actually this Essence. Behind the phenomenal world is the Transcendent Reality which Intuition alone can see ). It bears a remarkable resemblance to the Universal Religion that H.G. The six main characteristics of New Age thinking are: (1) All is Unity; (2) All is Divine (3) Humanity is divine (4) A change in Consciousness; (5) All religions are One; and (6) Cosmic Evolutionary optimism.
Basically Dialectical Integralism, New Age Philosophy unites both Matter and Spirit.
Spirit shall see through Matter's gaze
Matter shall reveal the Spirit's face !
The 13 main principles of New Age Philosophy are:
(1) One Global Order – One World Governement, One Currency, One Universal Being.
(2) Universal Energy, Universal Matter, Universal Life, Universal Soul As God
(3) An Eternal Universe – Uniform in Space and Unending in Time
(4) Divine practices ( Astrology Yoga & other esoteric arts)
(5) Syncretism ( Unity of all Religions ).
(6) The need for Meditation ( for generating altered states of Consciousness );
(7) Life is Cyclical- Everything is cyclical, subject to the cyclical upheavals of Time.
(8) Holistic Medicine & Vegetarianism (The patient is more important than the Doctor & Alkaline diet)
(9) Pacifism ( Anti-war activities);
(10) Reincarnation; ( The Law of Conservation of Soul )
(11) The Evolution of Man into Divinity; ( The latent Life Force evolving naturally to the Divine )
(12) The Union of Man with the Divine; ( Merger of man into the Infinite )
(13) Matter's Illusoriness; – Esse est percipii – Perception is Essence; Mind is Substance.
The practices of the New Age are psychic practices like : Astrology, Reiki, Bioenergy, Chi energy, Chakras, Nirvana, Christ- Consciousness,Spiritualism, Native American Spirituality, Prajna, Out-of-body/near- death experiences, Reincarnation, Yoga, Meditation and the occult disciplines, as well as psychotherapeutic techniques and scientific applications of the healing powers of crystals and pyramids.
Some commonly used New Age terms are: Quantum Healing, Transmutation, Transfiguration, Guided Imagery, Reincarnation; Positive Thinking; Human Potential; Holistic; Holographic; Synergistic; Unity; Oneness; Transformation; Awakening; Networking; Communal Sharing; One-world/globalism/new world order (i.e., One language, One Government, One currency, One religion); Cosmic Consciousness; Zodiac, etc.
Some New Age practices are: Transcendental Meditation, Parapsychology, Inner healing; Biofeedback; Yoga; I Ching; Reflexology; Therapeutic Touch; Transpersonal Psychology; Witchcraft; ; Magick; Tai Chi; Shamanism; Hypnotherapy; Acupuncture/Acupressure; Martial arts; Zen; Relaxation; Silva Method (formerly Silva Mind Control); Visualization; etc.
Some prominent New Agers are: Jeremy Rifkin, Norman Cousins, Elizabeth Clare Prophet, John Denver, George Lucas, Norman Lear, Alice Bailey, Alvin Toffler, Dr. Barbara Ray, Benjamin Creme, Levi Dowling, George Trevelyan, Fritjof Capra, Abraham Maslow, Barbara Marx Hubbard, Ruth Montgomery, Shirley MacLaine, J.Z. Knight, Marilyn Ferguson and David Spangler.
Soothing audio environments are created by New Age musicians and they believe rightly that Music has psycho-therapeutic properties. ( This concept is derived from the Vedic Philosophy that All music is Samaveda, the 4th Veda of the Indians ). Born of an interest in spirituality and healing in the late 1970s, it is often used as an aid in meditation.
Essentially meditative, New Age Music is soothing to the Soul. Isnt Music defined as the food for the Soul ? Harmonic consonance, uplifting themes, contemplative melodies & nonlinear song forms are the characteristics of New Age music. Even natural sounds or sounds from Nature and traditional electronic instruments are used by New Age musicians. With roots in classical music or Eastern Music, New Age music is often meditative. Prominent New Age musicians include vocalist Liz Story; harpist Andreas Vollenweider, electric violinist Jean-Luc Ponty , electronic-music pioneer Brian Eno, multi-instrumentalist Kitaro & solo-piano artist George Winston.
New Age practices have almost conquered the world. Athletes are using guided imagery. Graduate schools of business are invoking T M, Yoga, and Tarot cards in teaching courses on creativity in business (e.g., Stanford Graduate School of Business). Based upon Astrology, the Science of Time, stock market gurus employ Fibonacci numbers and "Wave Theory" in their forecasting.
We can summarise that the term New Age is an innovative term derived from the mother of all sciences, Astrology, indicating that this earth is undergoing an evolutionary transitional phase from the Piscean Age of Scientism to the Aquarian Age of Divine Wisdome, Cosmic Consciousness , Knowledge and Love.
Since the New Age is a conglomeration of spiritual practices, let us analyse the basic principles of N A M
1. The Divine Source of Authority. New Agers do not claim any source of authority—Only Inspiration by the Divine. By the Divine we mean a principle within, the Divine Spark or the Self and many are there who receive the revealations of the Self within or the intuitive insights of the Self.
2. The Lord. – Since Matter and Energy can neither be created or destroyed and the sum total energy in the Universe is an absolute constant ( Universal Being ), the Lord did not create the world, He became the world. Monism—( "All is Unity" ) averrs that there is only One Essence in the universe, everyone and everything being a part of that essence. The Self is an utter Being and all these are its Becomings. New Agers view God as an Impersonal Life force, Consciousness, or Energy (e.g., the "Star Wars Force") mainly but they also believe in His personal aspect, as the Ocean ( which is Formless ) can take the form of an iceberg! They averr that every human has a divine spark within him because all created beings are reflections of the Divine Idea. The eternal state is called by various terms among different New Age groups, i.e., God-consciousness, Universal Love, Self-Realization, the I AM, Higher Self, Brahman, Nirvana, etc.
2. The Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Christ Consciousness or the Divine Consciousness is what the New Age advocates mean by Christ. . In other words, Christ is a Divine Principle rather than an individual, such as Jesus. This idea of Christ Consciousness asserts that Jesus was only one of the Christs, but that He equipped Himself to receive the Christ Consciousness (i.e., He was a great Master who attained Christ Consciousness), as did other prophets like Buddha, Krishna, and Mohammed. New Agers believe Dr Paul Brunton who stated the Jesus spent 18 years in India absorbing Indian Mysticism and that he was initiated into the highest esoteric doctrine.
3. Human Destiny. Man is the measure of all things and is more divine than the animals & hence the salvation of the world depends upon Man. Cleansing the negative elements from the collective subconscient should be the aim of humanity. Once Negativity is cleaned from the collective subconscient, the human positive energy will shine forth and the noble ideals of the New Age will be actualised in an era of Enlightenment. Since man is intrinsically divine and perfect, his only real problem is ignorance of that fact. Gnosis means experiential knowledge and Salvation in the New Age is for man to become enlightened through this Divine Gnosis. New Age groups offer various spiritual techniques to enable individuals, and ultimately the world, to evolve into this Unitive Consciousness . These techniques may include psychotechnologies for attaining altered states of consciousness – Transcendental Meditation, Yoga, Zen, Attunement , Channeling (Spirit guides), Psychics, Acupuncture, etc.
4. The Ethical Opposites, Good & Evil – Believing in the Oriental philosophies, New Agers make the distinction between good and evil. All wickedness is weakness and Evil is imperfection. By the method of Trial and Error, we come to know what is good and what is bad for the world and we have to transcend the dualities.
5. Reincarnation. New Agers believe in the ancient Vedic philosophic concept of Reincarnation—that through a long process of rebirths, man can eventually attain Divine perfection. They also teach the Universal Law of Karma -(( The Law of Cause and Effect ( Every effect has a cause ), the Law of Action and Reaction, the Law of Retribution )) that what a person sows , he shall reap. This is also the doctrine of God's non-responsibility, that the Self is not responsible and it is the Ego which experiences bitter & sweet mental experiences due to its own Karma.
6.Salvation is Self-Actualisation and Sin is Ignorance – SSome theoreticians taught the concept of Man's Original Sin. New Age exponents teach the concept of man's essential goodness. Instead of systems which emphasised the human negative aspect and sin, New Age highlights that every man is essentially divine and it is a sin to call man a sinner ! However, New Agers speak of troublesome desires which are natural impulses which retard human evolution and make the Ego move away from the Self. Sin is merely ignorance of man's essential divinity. The atrophied spiritual consciousness of the normal man who lives in ignorance of his Divine Self is Sin. Like the Law of Conservation of Energy which states that Energy cannot be created or destroyed, the Law of Conservation of Soul states that the Soul can neither be created nor destroyed. Matter exists in 3 states, liquid, gaseous and solid and matter cannot be created or destroyed. Nothing ever begins to be. Similarly Life does not at physical birth begin to be. It merely enters physical conditions and assumes physical guise. It merely undergoes a parallel transformation into conditions which preexisted in other conditions. The Soul is reincarnated in different bodies in a continous succession of lives. The good or bad Karma earned in the present lifetime determines one's subsequent incarnation. Attaining higher states of Consciousness should be our aim. There are many different paths to the goal of Divine perfection and we should be tolerant of other paths.
The divine Aurobindo predicted that spiritual influences from India will trigger off a global spiritual movement. There will be Mass Incarnations ( many people divinely inspired ) who will work for World Peace and Universal Love !
I saw them cross the twilight of the Age
The massive barrier breakers of this world
The sun-eyed children of a marvellous dawn
The architects of immortality
Carrying the magic Word, the mystic Fire
Carrying the Dionysian Cup of Joy !
The four systems of Philosophy which triggered the N A M are Hinduism, a product of 5,000 years of development, Buddhism, circa 560 B.C., Taoism, circa 500 B.C & Druidism, circa 300 B.C, the religion of the Celts, which extended upto the Middle Ages.

Aging = to become old, show the effects or the characteristics of increasing age, the increasing liferime. The effects and characteristics of not only the totality of the system, but also of each and every component, and of components of the components of the system. The system is the totality of the components.
lifetime = the duration of the existence of a living being, an organism, or an inanimate thing, a material, star or subatomic particle.
age = the length of an existence extending from its beginning to any given time.
The lengthening list of work-accounts comprises a wide array of subjects apparently related to old age, including:
- A variety of constitutional impairments, - a variety of impaired biological processes, - a variety of impaired genetic materials and expressions, - a great variety of suggested things to consume or do or avoid for alleviating the symptoms, - and a great variety of anti-aging suggestions.
:
- A little stress may keep cells youthful. - Intestinal stem cells, that replenish the lining, go awry in elderly flies, similar to what happens in certain human stem cell populations. - Yeast, worms and people may age by similar mechanisms. - Nearly all organisms experience aging. - In aging muscles and neurological problems, energy greedy organs, there are mitochondria dysfunctions. - Age-related growing 'leakiness' in cell nucleus membrane may contribute to aging and even to diseases such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's.

Why don't "scientists" accept the obvious fact that genes are organisms and "experience aging", too?
Not only yeast, worms and people. Also genes and the interdependent-genes-communes, genomes. Theye are both organisms. They are alive. It is their "lifehood" that makes us and all life forms "alive".
By plain common sense - my favorite scientific approach - they should also be "experiencing aging"...
Since a genome is a cooperative commune of interdependent genes, many of its member genes "modulate its aging" to various extents at various time-rates depending on circumstances and environment and on their individual composition and functioning history. Various things happen to them or affect them and impair their functionalities.
In my plain commonsensical mind "interaction between environmental and genetic factors" is a description of organism's "aging". And in my boy's-like view of the emperor's new clothes organism's aging comprises aging of its genes-genome, and genes and genomes age as we age, and we age also as a result of the aging of our genes and genomes...
"Research presented at American Society for Cell Biology conference: Aging yeast cells accumulate damage over time, but they do so by following a pattern laid down earlier in their life by diet as well as the genes that control metabolism and the dynamics of cell structures such as mitochondria, the power plants of cells."
Cellular Aging? What is Cellular Aging?
Complexly instrumented future spacestations accumulate damage over time, and their residents, too, age and accumulate damage over time. Yes, the functionality of the stations' residents and of their intruments and equipment is impaired with age. Wonder why?
The reason for the impairment with age of the highly active instrumented-equipped stations and of their resident crew is that they "follow a pattern laid down earlier in their life by diet as well as by the residents who control metabolism and the dynamics of the stations' structures such as mitochondria, their power plants."
About time that "scientists" refresh conceptions and comprehensions and attitudes and research plannings and peer-reviewings. Let their science evolve...

Is it possible to reduce the gap between chronological age and biological age? By definition, does aging have to imply chronic disease, suffering, dementia, frailty and debilitation? Could it be possible to live to 110 years of age and still be out and about with the energy to enjoy our great grandchildren without collapsing from shortness of breath or a fractured hip? That is what longevity medicine is all about. It is not about achieving immortality and it is certainly not about looking 21 when you are 92. It is, however, about taking advantage of medical breakthroughs to live a healthy, vigorous life as long as we possibly can. This article will begin by giving a brief overview of the current theories of aging and will conclude with the latest trends in anti-aging research. Let us redefine the term "aging gracefully" to "aging gracefully and healthfully." There are many current theories on aging. Some of the major focus on aging has been placed on the eventual destruction or damage of DNA by oxidation. One such theory is the Telomerase Theory, which proposes that cells lose their ability to replicate appropriately. As this continues, cells become more and more damaged and the cumulative effect is cellular dysfunction, which is commonly known as "aging". Telomeres are the unique sequence of nucleic acids or "the building blocks of life" that are a vital part of our genetic makeup. So what if we could fix the telomeres or prevent them from breaking down? Well, we would essentially be able to reverse the natural aging process. The person who figures this out will surely be a Nobel laureate. What contributes to DNA damage? Oxidation, toxins such as tobacco smoke, pollution, certain disease states such as diabetes, which leads to glycosylation and even states of extreme stress, contribute to DNA damage while potentially accelerating the aging process of our skin and body. Why stress? Our bodies produce excessive cortisol when in states of stress and the levels increase with normal aging. In excess, it is commonly believed that cortisol plays a significant role in damaging the hypothalamus, a key neuroendocrine organ in the brain. As such, it would seem logical to reverse or stop the aging process at a hormonal level, either by reducing the amount of excessive cortisol production or by finding a safe way to keep the hypothalamus functioning appropriately. Likewise bio-chemically, our molecules like to remain "in a state of balance." When they are not in balance, molecules tend to find that balance by stealing electrons from other molecules. This is known as the Free Radical Theory Of Aging. However, as humans we generate free radicals all the time as a result of ATP or energy production in the mitochondria. So how can something essential to our survival be bad for us? There are different levels of free radicals resulting in different levels of damage. The idea is to control as much as possible, the production of the bad free radicals within our bodies. Limiting free radical damage also ties in with the theory that we increase cellular damage by excessive consumption of calories. Since we need energy to burn calories and the production of energy leads to free radical formation, it follows that limiting caloric intake would result in extending the lifespan of a cell. Thus, maintaining the efficiency of the energy storehouses of our cells -- the mitochondria, is also essential to preventing premature aging. Finally, the Lipid Membrane Theory Of Aging states that our cell membrane loses water and lipids as we age and gains lipofuscin. This is a toxin and its accumulation leads to premature cell damage and the inability of the cell to function optimally. Similarly, the Glycolsylation Theory states that excessive amounts of glucose causes cellular damage resulting in end organ damage. Uncontrolled diabetics, for example, have up to 75% more glycolsylated proteins than normal individuals. These cross-linked proteins cannot function efficiently and result in more heart, kidney and circulatory problems for diabetics, thus greatly shortening their lifespan. It is important to keep in mind that all these theories are inter-related and it is likely a combination of the above that leads to premature aging and cell damage. What can be done to potentially reverse and prevent these challenging aging processes, so that we can live a more healthy life? There are the obvious solutions: smoking cessation, exercise and dietary modification. However, we cannot entirely avoid damaging pollutants that surround us within the environment and the presence of chemicals in our foods. However, there are things we can start doing today (and this is by no means a comprehensive list): 1. Take Anti-Oxidants: A basic anti-oxidant program should include a multi-mineral supplement, a multivitamin with folic acid and additionally Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Vitamin C, Alpha Lipoic Acid and Coenzyme Q10. 2. Take other nutraceutical supplements, under the advice and care of an anti-aging physician, to meet your specific needs. For example, both women and men should take estrogen blockers, natural hormone replacements including estrogen, progesterone and testosterone, yet in varying and individualized amounts. Make sure your physician includes hormone levels as part of your prevention workup, especially if you are over 45. 3. Utilize substances that give natural protection against cancer, which include: laetrile cream, estrogen blockers such as DIM, thymus and reservatrol. 4. Take substances that will prevent free radical damage and enhance mitochondrial production: These can include Acetyl-L-Carnitine and Aminoguanidine, Carnosine and even melatonin. 5. Maintain circulatory health by taking reservatrol, aminoguanidine and vitamin E. 6. Piracetam, hydergine, hydergine, gerovital-H3, deprenyl and vincopotene, acetyl- L-Carnitine all play a role in improving brain function and oxygenation. 7. DHEA and pregnenolone aid in excessive cortisol and more effective hormone production. 8. Use sunscreen protection: With regard to aging of the skin, sun protection is the key to anti-aging and it is very cost effective. A sunscreen with UVA/UVA and an SPF of 30 or higher is essential. 9. In addition to oral supplements there are many excellent antioxidants that can be used topically. These include, Co-Enzyme Q10, Alpha Lipoic Acid, DMAE, Vitamin E, pycnogenol, vitamin A, vitamin C, carnosine, even estrogen creams. Some work by preventing free radical damage and others help to promote new collagen formation in the skin. 10. Get screened for diabetes, cancer, heart disease and osteoporosis. Early detection and prevention is the cornerstone to longevity. 11. Discuss decreased libido and sexual function with your doctor. The ability to maintain sexual performance is a definite gauge of health and longevity. 12. Don't stress. The mind-body connection is a powerful tool in medicine, healing and longevity. Anti-Aging Medicine is not about achieving an ageless society. It is not "pseudoscientific hype about miracle cures," "virtual immortality," or the secret to the "fountain of youth" (these are all descriptives given to the anti-aging medical field by the biogerontological establishment, fearing that their disease based research will be threatened when, in fact, it will be enhanced). It is, however, about learning what can be done to live a long, healthful, more productive life. It is about focusing on disease detection and prevention rather than the treatment of symptoms of age-related chronic disease. It is a clinical medical specialty based on innovative, peer reviewed scientific research and a sensible model of preventive medical care. Consider these facts: 1. The 85 and older age group has more than tripled since 1970. 2. The number of Americans aged 100 and over has increased by 35% in the last decade. 3. It is projected that by the year 2030, 1 in 5 Americans will be age 65 and older. 4. The leading causes of death in the U.S. are heart disease, cancer and stroke. The bottom line is that with rapid advances in high-tech medical treatments we are all going to live longer, whether we like it or not. We have a choice in how we choose to live the latter part of our lives. Given the choice between spending the last years of my life debilitated and in a nursing home with 3 or more chronic diseases of aging being managed by the traditional polypharmaceutical approach vs. leading a vigorous, productive life well into my 90s, the choice is a no-brainer. Today, the average American consumer is realizing this. Here are some basic facts about the anti-aging marketplace: 60% of Americans age 65 and older are taking some form of hormone supplementation and dietary supplementation. In this estimated billion industry, sales of anti-aging supplements are estimated at billion in the United States alone. If we eliminated the top 3 chronic diseases (heart disease, cancer and stroke) trillions of US dollars could be reinvested in furthering longevity research (or gerontological research if that term offends you). What does the Anti-Aging Medical Model include? What can you expect from an anti-aging evaluation and treatment plan? This may include:
§ Anti-Aging endocrinological assessment and hormone replacement therapy. § Anti-oxidant analysis and appropriate supplementation. § Evaluation of the bio-markers of aging. § Cardiovascular and Immune protection. § Cognitive function assessment and repair. § Metabolic and DNA repair. § Aesthetic procedures and skin rejuvenation such as laser, botox, chemical peels and fillers.
Technical advances and knowledge in Anti-Aging Medicine are increasing at a rapid rate. The future of this burgeoning field is remarkable to say the least. The average lifespan, now estimated to be at about 80 years of age could conceivably be 130 years by the year 2010. In fact, 10 times as many people are expected to reach their 100th birthday as in year 2000. Here is a sampling of what current research is focusing on today and what can be expected in the next decade and beyond.
Advances in genetic engineering and nanotechnology will lead to such treatments as nanonized insulin administered via skin patches or nasal inhalers, making the need for injections of insulin obsolete. Moreover, with the completion of the Human Genome Project, cures for chronic diseases such as diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis and cancer will follow suit. Laser treatment for vision correction will become more commonplace and more affordable. On the horizon: Surgically implanted contact lenses and light sensitive microchips for age related blindness. Vasectomies will become outdated as advances in male contraception are made with sperm-neutralizing vaccines. Advances in infertility will include the gestation of an embryo in an artificial womb that mimics the natural womb environment. Replacement parts for our aging body will be available, from artificial eyes, ears, hips and knees that last for 50 years instead of the present 10. In 50 years, it is conceivable that limbs, joints and even faces will be "grown" or replicated replacing the need for artificial parts. This includes lab grown breast tissue to replace breasts lost to cancer. Intellectual immortality will be possible through the development of multiple memory chips that will store an individual's thoughts, feelings, and memories.
