How is Carefree After Hair Removal moisturizer?
I have super sensitive skin and hair that grows WAY too fast. I literally shaved this morning, was out all evening outside in the chilly air getting goosebumps, and now my legs feel like I haven't shaved for two days!
I've tried Veet (with the plastic razor) and Nair - both burn my skin or irritate it terribly. (Veet is especially terrible, but I read that maybe the kind with almond oil isn't as bad?)
Has anyone ever tried the Carefree after hair removal moisturizer? From what I gather, it's not like Nair, but rather a moisturizer that you just use after shaving? Is this right?
Has anyone tried it?

Try shaving right before you go to bed. Hair growth is the fastest first thing in the morning and shaving then can over-stimulate the hair growth. Try grapeseed oil on your sensitive skin - it is emollient and very healing. You can buy it at health food stores.

When it comes to mens skin care tips, many men do not have a clue. They do not know what to use, or even how to use it. Don't get me wrong, there are some who do know, and those are the ones who have the best looking skin. In our culture it is considered "not manly" if you spend any time taking care of yourself. While many people have heard this, too many mens skincare experts ignore it: wear sun protection. The sun will be the death of your skin if you do not protect it. Radiation can cause chromosome damage which can lead to skin cancer. It's much better to take the two minutes to rub some sunscreen into your face, than regret not doing so for years because you got melanoma. Try to eliminate simple sugars or starches (white bread, pasta, soda, candy); these cause insulin to spike which can cause breakouts. Also, try to gradually replace saturated fats with healthier fats like monounsaturated or polyunsaturated, omega-3s (fish oil) are even better for mens skincare because they have profound anti inflammitory and skin healing properties.
