hiv transmission with needle and blood sample taken out?
I had an HIV test done 2 weeks ago and i did not see if the nurse opened a new needle from a packet. my initial results came out negative, but now i am worried that the needle the nurse used to take my blood sample was re-used and putting me at risk for getting HIV.
My blood flows out into the syringe, so is transmission possible at all?

There are strict laws about how a nurse draws blood. Just because you didn't see her open a new package doesn't mean she didn't do it.
