Can someone become conditioned to hate the act/thought of falling in love?

Say someone in love gets hurt really bad and during the height of tension and stress related to the relationship, something bad happens to them internally that wasn't good (i.e. heart attack, shock, something) but they still lived.

Would such an event make a person conditioned to hating love (the act/thought of falling in love)? Because thinking about love again would remind them of that bad experience/situation, inducing similar mental/physical effects, therefore the brain is conditioned to not like it and run away from it.

A person becomes mentally/emotionally "conditioned" to something after many, many events to condition them. A single event would not "condition" them negatively toward love.

They may be reminded of the bad experience, but love is a much stronger emotion and if it is real, it would overwhelm the negative emotions. That's just the way love is!!

The answer is a resounding yes!

With that in mind, it is a good idea to hold off on having sex in the beginning of a relationship. The physical connection and desire to satisfy the other sexually takes your focus away from bonding emotionally. It is the emotional bond that makes a relationship solid, so delay sex for a while so that your focus remains in the right place.

Every woman knows that men are very protective of their feelings; so when a man feels secure in opening up to a woman with all of his most intimate thoughts, you can believe that he feels deeply for her. He considers her to be his closest companion and she will soon be making that man fall in love with her. Men will always value a mate that can be a friend and a lover.
