Can Citrus microcarpa/calamansi remove acne and treat pimples?

im just concious, cause every time i use its extract, my skin is so painful, but after a minute my skin tightens.

but im not sure if its true that it can treat.

my friends/neighbor just told me to use it to get rid of my pimples.

please help me. i want to treat them for my coming js prom.

or any alternative recommendations that can help me treat this pimples and acne.
